Handbook of Precision Engineering 2: Materials
Precision engineering involves the use of a greater variety of materials than almost any other branch of engineering, and this is reflected in the wide range covered in this second volume of the Handbook of Precision Engineering.
Considerable attention is devoted to non-ferrous metals, synthetic materials, glass, ceramics, paper, and other materials which are of importance in this area of engineering. Also described in some detail are the auxiliary materials (non commonly dealt with in traditional engineering texts) such as glue, paint and compounds used during manufacturing processes.
